His deep understanding of legal issues regarding information technology and the Internet has established him as a leading counselor in the structuring and implementation of a wide variety of technology and Internet systems.
Among Mr. Brown's representative transactional matters include the drafting and negotiation of the following: a multi-year $100M+ agreement for the licensing of print content for use in online research; a landmark consulting project between a Big Four accounting firm and an international electronics manufacturer; big data applications; patent licenses; website Terms of Use and Privacy Policies; cloud computing services agreements; the sharing of intellectual property rights between two business entities; and hospital information systems.He has drafted agreements for use in hiring employees, consultants, and independent contractors. Mr. Brown has also revised license agreements drafted for use in the European Union to comply with U.S. law.
